Flyways in the Americas Preparatory Meeting: Strategies for Enhancing Collaboration among Migratory Species Conservation Initiatives throughout the Hemisphere

In preparation to the "Flyways in the Americas" meeting, experts on migratory species met at the OAS headquarters in Washington D.C. on January 14, 2014. Convened by the Western Hemisphere Migratory Species Initiative (WHMSI) and the Convention on Migratory Species (CMS), the meeting to be held in Jamaica on March 11-14, 2014, will seek to strengthen cooperation among the different organizations involved in migratory species conservation and to agree on an overarching Action Plan.
