Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.
Approximately six weeks after the end of each semester, the OAS publishes a Semiannual Management and Performance Report, which since 2013 includes reporting on programmatic results. The full texts may be found here.

The OAS has discussed for several years the real estate issue, the funding required for maintenance and repairs, as well as the deferred maintenance of its historic buildings. Objectivo:Contribuir a eliminar la contaminación del agua subterránea por aceite usado de cocina en la Ciudad de Guatemala, evitando que lo desechen en los desagües. Transformar el aceite en biodiesel para mezcla con diesel y así, reducir las emisiones de GEI del parque vehicular. Crear conciencia en los ciudadanos de la oportunidad de transformar un desecho en combustible y reducir el daño que provoca al medio ambiente, estableciendo estrategias para su aprovechamiento.
Resultados Esperados:
Diseño y puesta en marcha de un sistema de recolección y transformación de residuos de aceite usado de cocina (RAUC) en biodiesel, evitando que lo arrojen en los desagües en los mercados municipales.
Determinar la cantidad de RAUC que se produce en los comedores de mercados municipales de la ciudad de Guatemala
Utilizar el biodiesel producido en vehículos de la Municipalidad de Guatemala1 y de la Empresa Eléctrica de Guatemala, S.A., EEGSA.
Desarrollar una campaña publicitaria que informa y promueve la concientización ciudadana
Implementar un proceso de capacitación para la formación de promotores ambientales en la Municipalidad
Identificar otros sectores de la ciudad, con problemas ocasionados por el RAUC y proponer mecanismos para la expansión a futuro del proyecto en esas zonas
Definir el valor del RAUC como materia prima para la elaboración de biodiesel
