Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

The Department of Social Inclusion of the OAS is the technical
secretariat of the meetings of Ministers and High Authorities of Social
Development. This implies that among its responsibilities are the
provision of substantive services and the production of technical inputs
for planning, scheduling, and conducting ministerial and high level
meetings, within the framework of the Inter-American Council for
Integral Development.
Objectives:
• Provide a forum for high-level political dialogue to analyze and
discuss the trends and priorities of countries in development and social
inclusion.
• Provide recommendations on national and international action in
promoting social protection policies, and find innovative solutions to
address extreme poverty, social exclusion, and high levels of inequality
afflicting the region.
• Build consensus on the priorities and challenges of social
development in the region.
Inter-American Committee on Social Development (CIDES)
The Inter-American Committee on Social Development (CIDES) aims to
strengthen inter-American dialogue to support policy development and
cooperative action on social development, particularly for combating
poverty and discrimination in the hemisphere. In addition, the CIDES
follows up on mandates of the Summits of the Americas as well as
agreements made at the Meetings of Ministers and High Authorities of
Social Development, identifies multilateral initiatives, and contributes
to the implementation of OAS policies on partnerships for social
development.
