In recent times what has come to be known as "the case of Medellin', has generated a growing interest in the local and international community and it became a point of reference for various areas of knowledge. With the objective of strengthening analysis of urban themes- territorial, environmental, and its impact on society, the Organization of American States and the Center of Urban and Environmental Studies of EAFIT University have convened for this course a group of professionals who, from different disciplinary fields have participated, analyzed, and investigated the process of urban and social transformation of Medellin.
