Codifying and harmonizing Private International Law in the Americas

In August 2006, the CJI adopted a resolution in the field of Private International Law entitled “Considerations on the task of codifying and harmonizing international law in the Americas.”

In the development of this issue, the Inter-American Juridical Committee discussed the following documents over the years that serve as background information:
