The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) through the OAS Partnerships Program for Education and Training (PAEC), are offering scholarships to qualified candidates of the Americas to pursue Ph.D research at the VUB in Brussels, Belgium.

Please note that the diploma awarded at the end of the research will be based on faculty in which the research is conducted, the PhD degree and the topic of the research.

FINANCIAL
RESPONSIBILITIES
OF AWARDEES:
  • Immigration fees
  • Research expenses and study visit
  • Settling-in fees
  • Living expenses
  • Round trip airfare
  • Visa charge

These above expenses shall be the sole and exclusive responsibility of the scholarship recipients.

Candidates may wish to contact the scholarships desk in their country, other scholarship programs, employer, academic institutions, and agencies regarding possible additional funding to cover the costs not provided by the scholarship.
