The webinar "Operation of National Early Warning System (EWS), and how to standardize and deliver alerts" is a training event organized by CICAD, intended for national drug observatories in member states that are developing or planning to develop a national EWS on drugs. EWS quickly and efficiently gather data on emerging trends, allowing countries to make informed decisions to address the drug problem. The event will include presentations on the operations of national EWS from the Uruguayan Drug Observatory, the Colombian Observatory on Drugs, and by CICAD on the standardization of alerts and sending alerts to the Early Warning System of the Americas (SATA, by its Spanish acronym).
