Trading in influence (ICCS 07034)
TRADING IN INFLUENCE is defined as promising, offering or giving to a public official, or solicitation or acceptance by a public official, directly or indirectly, of an undue advantage in order that the public official or the person abuse his or her real or supposed influence with a view to obtaining an undue advantage.
INCLUSIONS: Trading in influence
EXCLUSIONS: A course of action demanded from a person by another person through the use of force, threat, intimidation, threat to reveal compromising information, or the threat of defamation (0205). Apply all exclusions listed in 0703.
