Course on International Law

The Course on International Law is an event organized annually since 1974 by the Inter-American Juridical Committee and the Department of International Law of the Secretariat for Legal Affairs (SLA) of the Organization of American States. Currently, the length of this Course is three weeks, and it takes place in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, every August.

The comprehensive curriculum includes a broad range of legal topics with an international focus and seeks to help attorneys gain an integral perspective on the most relevant issues in the international arena and specifically, in the Inter-American System.

Classes given during the Course are published in annual volumes.
