Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General Calls for Dialogue in Venezuela

In response to press inquiries in Mexico, where he is attending several international meetings, the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, said he is following recent events in Venezuela “with concern.” He added, in that context, he is worried by “the mood of confrontation in Venezuelan society, which benefits no one.”
Secretary General Insulza added that, “I am convinced that only positive dialogue can bridge the gap between positions, that's what Venezuelans need, for all sectors of government and opposition to make an effort toward dialogue with a democratic spirit and in accordance with their laws, to order to find common ground."
Following this line of thought, the OAS leader renewed his call for "tolerance, dialogue, and an effort to curb the dynamics of social polarization that can bring nothing good to a people who want to live in peace."
