Secretary General Insulza Sends Condolences and Condemns Murder of the Son of former Ambassador of Honduras to the OAS Sosa Coello

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, expressed his great consternation at learning of the murder of the son of the former Ambassador of Honduras to the OAS, Carlos Sosa Coello, Eduardo Alejandro Sosa Chávez, whose body was discovered this morning in a neighborhood of the Honduran capital.

In a letter of condolence sent to the former diplomat, Insulza expressed the hope that Sosa Coello and his family find the strength to face this time of deep sadness, and empathized with the pain of a parent who suffers the loss of a child, in a brutal manner.

As well as condemning the cowardly crime, Secretary General Insulza expressed concern about the climate of violence affecting the Central American country and expressed his hope that the crime be resolved by the Justice system.
