Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Government of Colombia Presents $560,000 Donation to the OAS

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Jaime Bermúdez Merizalde, today presented to the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, a donation of US $560,000 for programs contributing to the promotion and defense of human rights, the enhancement and strengthening of cooperation among nations, and social development.
At the ceremony, Secretary General Insulza said he was grateful for the donation, adding that “this is the second time this year the Colombian government makes an important voluntary contribution to this organization and these donations are always aimed at our fundamental objectives.”
“The priorities of Colombia agree with those of the Organization of American States and we are very grateful for this,” said the topmost representative of the hemispheric organization.
For his part, Minister Bermúdez asserted that “this contribution recognizes the work of the OAS and the Inter-American System, and we wish to continue in that direction.”
The donation was made during a ceremony held in the framework of the 40th OAS General Assembly in Lima and will be divided up as follows: $400,000 to the Pan-American Development Foundation (PADF); $30,000 to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights; $30,000 to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR); $50,000 to the Victims Fund; and $50,000 to the Inter-American Committee on Social Development (CIDES).
The event also was attended by the Permanent Representative of Colombia to the OAS, Ambassador Luis Alfonso Hoyos; the President of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), Felipe Gonzalez; the President of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, Diego Garcia Saya; the Vice President of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, Leonardo Franco; and PADF Executive Director John Sambrailo.
