Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General Reiterates Support for Vote Audit in Venezuela

Faced with the announcement by the President of the National Electoral Council of Venezuela that the Council has accepted the request to conduct an audit of the remaining 46 percent of the ballot boxes from the recent elections, the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, supported the audit, thus reiterating his previously expressed position, and considered that it would contribute to the promotion of a framework of harmony and public peace.
In this sense, Secretary General Insulza called once again for intensified mechanisms for dialogue, in a climate of respect for differences.
