Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) designated Tuesday Mr. James Millette as new member of the Board of External Auditors of the OAS, replacing Bradford Higgins.
Millette, a US citizen, is Acting Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Resource Management, and Chief Financial Officer for the Department of State, will serve until no later than February 2011, the remainder of the term which had been occupied by Mr. Higgins, also a US citizen. Designation was achieved without any opposition.
At the same Regular Meeting of the Permanent Council, which took place in the Bolivar Hall of the OAS Headquarters in Washington, DC, the Mission of the Republic of Argentina to the OAS presented a report on the Second Meeting of National Authorities on Trafficking in Persons, held March 25-27 in Buenos Aires.
A complete report about the conclusions of the meeting will be presented to the 39th OAS General Assembly, 1-3 June in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and to the next Meeting of Ministers of Justice of the Americas.
The OAS Permanent Council also agreed on designating as a Specialized Inter-American Conference the 20th Pan-American Child Congress, to be held in September in Lima.
