OAS Announces Winners of the Inter-American Award on Innovation in Effective Public Management – 2022

The Organization of American States (OAS) announces Winners and Special Recognitions of the X Edition of the “Inter-American Award on Innovation in Effective Public Management 2022,” which aims to recognize, identify and promote innovations in public management that are being implemented within the region to contribute to the strengthening of transparency, citizen participation, effectiveness, and inclusion in public institutions.

During this X Edition, 48 Innovative Experiences were received from nine OAS member states: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru and the Dominican Republic.

Special Recognitions:

“Autenticación Ciudadana Argentina” of the National Directorate of State Digital Integration and Processing (DNIYTDE), of the Chief of Cabinet of Ministers (JGM),Argentina.

Special Recognition:

“Innovación a nivel mundial con Blockchain en los Catálogos Electrónicos de PERÚ COMPRAS”of the Central de Compras Públicas - PERÚ COMPRAS.

Winner:


“Como aumentar o pagamento de impostos em atraso? Dívidas do imposto predial e territorial urbano (IPTU) parcelado” of the Secretaria Municipal de Inovação e Tecnologia de São Paulo, Brazil.

Special Recognition:

“Senda de Integridad” of the General Secretariat of the Mayor's Office of Bogota, Colombia.

“Rosario Emprende” of the Municipality of Rosario, Argentina.

Special Recognition:

“Ser Capaz en Casa” of the Mayor's Office Special District of Science, Technology and Innovation of Medellin, Colombia.
