Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Report on Latin America's Economic Future to be Presented at OAS

The economic outlook of the region after the 2009 global economic crisis will be the central theme of the next Lecture Series by the Organization of American States (OAS). The lecture will feature a report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), titled, "Latin American Economic Outlook 2011."
At the event, to be held at OAS headquarters in Washington, DC, the Secretary General of the OECD, Angel Gurria, will explain the main findings and methodology of the study, which refers to the situation of middle-income groups in the region and shows their economic vulnerability.
The report covers topics such as what factors contributed to the good performance of Latin America during the recession, the impact of the crisis, social mobility, education and fiscal policies, with special emphasis on middle sectors.
The meeting will open with presentations by OAS Secretary General José Miguel Insulza, and the current Chair of the OAS Permanent Council and representative of El Salvador, Ambassador Joaquín Maza.
