Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Inter-American Competitiveness Network to Hold Conference in Lima

The Group of Experts of the Inter-American Competitiveness Network (RIAC) will meet in Lima, Peru, from August 27 to 29, for an international conference on competitiveness and its measurement in the cities and provinces of the region.
The conference aims to promote competitiveness in the Hemisphere through the exchange of international experiences on competitiveness at the subnational level and knowledge about the various methodologies used in the preparation of reports, measures and agendas of competitiveness at the provincial, state, sub-regional and city level.
The event is organized by the OAS, in its capacity as the RIAC Technical Secretariat, the Business Center of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (CENTRUM) and the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF).
Among those participating will be representatives of the public and private sectors from several countries in the region as well as the Basque Country; representatives of academic research centers; and representatives of organizations supporting the RIAC such as the OAS, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE), the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC), and the Technological Institute of Monterrey.
This will be the first meeting of the RIAC Working Group following its formalization during the Sixth Competitiveness Forum held in Cali, Colombia, in October 2012.
