Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS and Brazil to Host 10th Inter-American Meeting of Electoral Management Bodies

The Superior Electoral Court of Brazil and the Organization of American States (OAS) will host the X Inter-American Meeting of Electoral Management Bodies in Rio de Janeiro on November 19th and 20th, 2015.
The meeting is dedicated to promoting the exchange of knowledge and successful practices among institutions that organize and validate elections in the region. Authorities from 32 electoral management bodies of 22 countries have confirmed their participation. During the two-day meeting, participants will identify and share experiences and challenges on topics such as the implementation of electoral reforms, the use of social networks in electoral processes and campaigns, political - electoral financing, and electoral observation missions.
Minister Sérgio França Danese, Acting Minister of External Relations of Brazil and Minister Dias Toffoli, President of the Electoral Court of Brazil, will open the meeting on Thursday, November 19th at 10:00 local time (12:00 GMT). OAS Secretary General Luis Almagro will deliver concluding remarks on Friday, November 20th, at 18:00 local time (20:00 GMT). Both the opening and closing ceremonies will be open to the press.
