Press Conference of the OAS Secretary General and the CASLA Institute on Crimes Against Humanity in Venezuela

The CASLA Institute will present to the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, its 2018 report on new cases of systematic torture perpetrated by the Venezuelan government on Tuesday, November 27, at 15:00 EST (20:00 GMT) at the headquarters of the hemispheric institution in Washington, DC.

Secretary General Almagro will inaugurate the event, while the report will be presented by the Executive Director of the CASLA Institute, Tamara Suju, who will be accompanied by Mrs. Sorbay Padilla, who was tortured for the whereabouts of her husband, a Venezuelan military man persecuted by the regime.

After the presentation of the report, the three speakers will hold a press conference.
