OAS Permanent Council to Receive Reports of Electoral Missions in Santa Lucia and El Salvador and from the MAPP/OAS

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, September 21 at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT) in the Hall of the Americas at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., to receive the final reports of the OAS Electoral Observations Missions deployed for the general elections held in Saint Lucia on July 26, 2021, and for the legislative and municipal elections held in El Salvador on February 28, 2021, and the Thirty-third report on the Organization of American States Mission to Support the Peace Process in Colombia (MAPP/OAS), among other topics.

The meeting will be broadcast live - with interpretation in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese- on the OAS Website and the OAS Facebook page

Representatives of the media interested in attending the meeting in person must wear a face mask, keep safe distance whenever possible, and present an identity document and COVID- 19 vaccination card. Due to restrictions due to the pandemic, access to the press will be limited and spaces will be occupied strictly by order of arrival.
