Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.
Approximately six weeks after the end of each semester, the OAS publishes a Semiannual Management and Performance Report, which since 2013 includes reporting on programmatic results. The full texts may be found here.

The OAS has discussed for several years the real estate issue, the funding required for maintenance and repairs, as well as the deferred maintenance of its historic buildings. Press Conference: OAS Special Adviser on the Responsibility to Protect to Launch Report

The OAS Special Adviser on the Responsibility to Protect, Jared Genser, will present the report “The Responsibility to Protect and the Organization of American States: A Path Forward for Atrocity Prevention and Response in the Americas” at a Press Conference on Thursday, September 15 from 12:00-13:00 EDT (16:00 - 17:00 GMT) in the Gabriela Mistral Room of the OAS General Secretariat building in Washington, DC.
The report is designed to provide recommendations to the General Secretariat and the OAS as a whole on how to further work in the field of atrocity prevention and response. The report is guided by the feedback the Special Adviser received from consultations with 45 officials from 30 OAS Member States; 40 officials from different OAS organs, agencies, and entities; and 20 civil society and international organizations.
The event will include:
• Presentation of the report and its recommendations by OAS Special Adviser on the Responsibility to Protect Jared Genser
• Comments from UN Special Adviser on Responsibility to Protect George William Okoth-Obbo
• Comments from Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect Executive Director Savita Pawnday
The press conference will be broadcast live – in Spanish and English – on the OAS Facebook page
