Inter-American Commission of Women to Co-organize Seminar in Mexico on Sexual Harassment at Work

The Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM) of the Organization of American States (OAS) will co-host on Thursday, July 5, in Mexico City, an international seminar on sexual harassment at work.

The event is held in cooperation with Mexico’s National Human Rights Commission and UN Women, the United Nations agency for gender equality and the empowerment of women.

The seminar's objective is to provide information on instruments and initiatives aimed at preventing and eradicating bullying and sexual harassment at work, as well as to support the modernization of legislation in the Hemisphere.

The Secretary General of the OAS, José Miguel Insulza, will send a video message. The seminar will be broadcast live on the OAS Website.
