Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Civil Society to Debate and Present Recommendations on OAS General Assembly

Nearly 100 representatives from civil society of the Americas, OAS authorities and its Member States will meet Monday the 25th and Tuesday the 26th of April at the headquarters of the Organization of American States (OAS) to debate and present recommendations on the theme of the organization's next General Assembly, "Citizen Security in the Americas."
The event will be divided in two parts: The Hemispheric Civil Society Forum, to take place Monday and Tuesday, and the Special Session of the Committee on Inter-American Summit Management and Civil Society Participation (CISC), to be held Tuesday.
The forum, to be inaugurated by OAS Assistant Secretary General Albert Ramdin, will feature three panels with the participation of the OAS Secretary for Political Affairs, Víctor Rico; the OAS Executive Secretary for Integral Development, Mauricio Cortes Costa; the OAS Secretary for Multidimensional Security, Adam Blackwell; the Executive Secretary of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), Santiago Cantón; the Executive Secretary of the OAS Summits of the Americas, Sherry Tross; the Coordinator of the VI Summit of the Americas, Jaime Girón; and the Permanent Representatives to the OAS of The Bahamas, El Salvador, Mexico, and Panama.
During this Special Session, representatives from civil society will present their recommendations and will hold a dialogue with the Member States to contribute to the OAS work in preparation for the General Assembly, to be held in San Salvador from June 5 to 7.
