THREE HEADS OF STATE TO SPEAK AT THE OAS

  September 23, 2004

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will receive the presidents of Suriname, El Salvador and Peru tomorrow during three protocolary sessions.

Diplomats of the 34 countries represented at the OAS will receive President Runaldo Ronald Venetiaan, of Suriname, at 9:30 a.m. and the President of El Salvador, Elías Antonio Saca, at 11:00 a.m. The President of Peru, Alejandro Toledo, will visit at 3:30 p.m.

All three protocolary sessions, as well as a regular session of the Permanent Council which begins at noon, will take place in the Hall of the Americas, at OAS headquarters.
