Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

FORMER PRIME MINISTER OF NEW ZEALAND WILL DISCUSS SOCIAL INCLUSION AT THE LECTURE SERIES OF THE AMERICAS

The Former Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jennifer Mary Shipley, will present the topic, “Peace, Security and Participation: The Case for Shared Societies,” at the next Thirty-Seventh Lecture of the Americas, an event organized by the Organization of American States (OAS).
The lecture will be held next Tuesday, September 22nd at 15:00 (EDT) in the Hall of the Americas, at the OAS Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Jennifer Mary Shipley was Prime Minister of New Zealand from 1997 to 1999. In the final year of her presidency she chaired the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit (APEC) in her country, and held several high-level positions in her Government during the 90’s.
Shipley entered the New Zealand Parliament in 1987 and retired from politics in 2002. She currently belongs to the Administrative Council of several enterprises in New Zealand and China. The Former Prime Minister owns a consulting firm.
Following her presentation, the audience will have the opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session.
