Authorities and Private Sector Leaders to Debate the Competitiveness Agenda of the Americas and Priorities for Post-COVID recovery

The XI Americas Competitiveness Forum will take place in virtual format on February 25, 2021 under the theme: “Re-Defining the Competitiveness Agenda in the Americas: Imperatives for a Post-COVID Recovery.”

The event, organized by the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Government of Ecuador, will provide a platform for ministers, authorities, and leaders of the private sector to exchange experiences on how to enhance competitiveness and innovation in the Americas. The Forum will seek to advance in the consolidation of a new Competitiveness Agenda, and better understand the needs and opportunities of the region to promote public-private collaboration as part of the post-COVID recovery.

In its eleventh edition, the Forum will include the participation of the President of the Republic of Ecuador, Lenín Moreno; the Secretary General of the OAS, Luis Almagro; the Minister of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment, and Fisheries of Ecuador, Iván Fernando Ontaneda Berrú and the President and CEO of the Council of Competitiveness of the United States Deborah L.
