OAS, ECLAC and Government of El Salvador Join Forces to Advance "Public-Private Partnerships"

The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Government of the Republic of El Salvador will hold the International Seminar, “Public-Private Partnerships for a new strategic vision of development," this Monday, January 10. The meeting will take place at the Crown Plaza Hotel’s Convention Center in San Salvador between 08:30 and 17:30 local time (14:30 to 23:30 GMT).

The seminar aims to inform public and private sector officials about international experiences, the role of public-private partnerships, as well as the benefits of efficient organization in strategies for changing production and achieving progress in medium- and long-term development and poverty reduction.

In addition to experts from the OAS and ECLAC, participants of the seminar will include high-level representatives and experts from Ireland, South Korea, and Latin American countries, as well as representatives of the Government of El Salvador. Public service officials from Central American governments, representatives from the private sector and civil society, and academics and media representatives are invited to participate in the seminar.
