Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

The new Permanent Representative of Colombia to the Organization of American States (OAS), Alejandro Ordóñez, today presented his credentials to the Secretary General of the Organization, Luis Almagro.
Ambassador Ordóñez highlighted his country´s historical ties with the OAS, and expressed his concern about the humanitarian crisis that Venezuela is experiencing, which he linked with the rupture of the constitutional order in the South American country. "We value the direction of Secretary General Almagro in bringing awareness to the region and that there is a political decision to use all the instruments that international law allows in order to achieve the restoration of democracy in Venezuela."
For his part, Secretary General Almagro said Colombia is a key partner in the defense of the main values of the Organization. "We trust that the work that Ambassador Ordoñez will carry out in the future will translate into concrete actions aimed at strengthening democracy and human rights in the hemisphere."
Ambassador Ordóñez announced that Colombia would offer to host the next OAS General Assembly in 2019.
