OAS Secretary General Receives National Secretary for Public Security of Brazil

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today received the National Secretary for Public Security of Brazil, Regina Miki, in his office in Washington DC.

During the meeting, the two discussed the Brazilian system of public security, the OAS programs of firearms marking, and security policies across the Hemisphere, among other issues.

The Secretary for Multidimensional Security of the OAS, Adam Blackwell, was present at the meeting, as was the Director of the Department of Public Security of the OAS, Paulina Duarte.
