The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today received Kathryn White, the President and CEO of the United Nations Association of Canada, in his office in Washington, DC.

White, who attended the meeting accompanied by the Permanent Representative of Canada to the OAS, Allan Culham, spoke with the Secretary General about the Pan and Parapan-American Games of Toronto 2015, and the resolutions that will support them; the lessons that sports teach children in terms of playing as part of a team and playing by the rules; and anti-racism projects in Canada, among other issues.

Also present at the meeting was the Director of the OAS Department of International Affairs, Jorge Sanín.
