The Forum includes a high level roundtable, debates focused on specific topics, and a concluding session. Some of the topics that will be examined include: the most effective mechanisms to promote the enforcement of political finance regulations; and how the regulation of political finance affects political participation and the fairness of competition between actors, among others.
The inauguration featured the participation of Ángel Gurría, Secretary General of the OECD; the Secretary for Political Affairs of the OAS, Kevin Casas-Zamora, and the Chief of the Electoral Observation Section of the Department for Electoral Cooperation and Observation (DECO).
