Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

The Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Ambassador Albert Ramdin, says youth unemployment in the Americas must be addressed with creativity and commitment if the future of the Americas is to be secured.
Speaking at the opening of the Talent and Innovation Challenge of the Americas - TIC Bolivia, the high ranking OAS official said, "our countries continue to produce brilliant, creative and increasingly prepared young people, but many of them are facing unemployment, or end up in jobs with low pay and poor conditions. We must be proactive and innovative to secure their future and the future of our countries."
TIC Bolivia is organized by the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) as a platform for providing opportunities for young entrepreneurs to create and grow their business ideas. The competition provides support and opportunities for visibility, networking and market access.
This year awards will be presented in several categories for projects which demonstrate talent and innovation in business proposals. According to Assistant Secretary General Ramdin, "programs like these, take words into action, providing young people with what they may not ordinarily have."
The OAS official issued a call for all stakeholders including private companies, government agencies and NGO´s to continue to support initiatives which provide opportunities to the youth of the Americas.
