Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.
Approximately six weeks after the end of each semester, the OAS publishes a Semiannual Management and Performance Report, which since 2013 includes reporting on programmatic results. The full texts may be found here.

SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE OAS SUPPORTS DEMOCRATIC PROCESS IN PERU

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS) Cesar Gaviria today underscored his support for efforts by President Toledo to engage in consultations to achieve a broad national consensus. These efforts are necessary to address the Peru’s complex political situation, and essential to defend democratic principles and the fight against corruption, one of the major challenges facing democratic societies today.
The Secretary General strongly supports these efforts, which are entirely in keeping with the OAS Charter and the Inter-American Democratic Charter. The OAS is strongly committed to strengthening the democratic process in Peru and will respond favorably to any requests in this regard from the Peruvian government, political organizations, and civil society.
