Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

The OAS has discussed for several years the real estate issue, the funding required for maintenance and repairs, as well as the deferred maintenance of its historic buildings. Meeting of Consultation of Ministers of Foreign Affairs to Address the “Situation in the Border Area between Costa Rica and Nicaragua”

The Meeting of Consultation of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, convened by the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) to address the “situation in the border area between Costa Rica and Nicaragua,” will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2010, in the Hall of the Americas at Organization headquarters in Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 11:00 EST (16:00 GMT).

Access
Members of the press may access the event location through the C Street entrance on the north side of the building. Credentials, which must be previously requested and approved by the Press Department, are to be picked up with an official personal document and one identifying the media organization you work for. Credentials may still be requested by following the specified instructions here.
To prevent crowding, journalists are requested to enter the building before 9:00 EST (14:00 GMT).
Coverage of the Meeting
The space designated for journalists inside the Hall of the Americas is limited and will be available strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Journalists who are unable to access this space may follow the meeting on the screens in the San Martín Room inside the same building.
Photo and Video Opportunities
Photographers and videographers may take images of event participants at the start of the meeting.
During the meeting, movement of photographers and videographers will be limited to areas designated by the OAS Press Department.
