Lecture Series of the Americas Hosts Judge of the International Court of Justice

Judge of the International Court of Justice Thomas Buergenthal will be the guest speaker at the Thirty-Ninth Lecture Series of the Americas of the Organization of American States (OAS) to be held Wednesday, April 14, at 15:00 EDT (19:00 GMT) in the Hall of the Americas of OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Judge Buergenthal, known as one of the youngest survivors of the concentration camps at Auschwitz and Sachsenhausen, will present on the subject: “Never Again: Understanding the Past to Prevent Future Genocide.” The judge is a specialist in international law and human rights.

The Lecture Series of the Americas will be broadcast live on the OAS Website.
