The Panamanian writer Rosa María Britton today presented at the Columbus Memorial Library of the Organization of American States (OAS) her latest novel, “Historias de Mujeres Crueles” (“Histories of Cruel Women”), in which she portrays women who were victims of abuse and infidelity and who rebelled against that reality.

The event, which concluded with a talk with the author, was organized by the Chairman of the Group of Friends of the Columbus Memorial Library and Permanent Representative of Costa Rica to the Organization, José Enrique Castillo, and by the Ambassador of Panama, Guillermo A. Cochez. Both chaired the event together with the author and the Director of the Columbus Memorial Library, Beverly Wharton-Lake.
