Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Secretary General Insulza Participates in Symbolic Inauguration of the Global South-South Development Expo 2014

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, along with other counterparts from international organizations and specialized agencies of the UN system, today participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony that symbolizes the official opening of the Global South-South Development Expo 2014 entitled "Scaling up South-South and Triangular Cooperation for Sustainable Development.”
The event was also attended by the President of the General Assembly High-level Committee on South-South Cooperation and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations, Abdulkalam Abdul Momen; the Envoy of the UN Secretary General and Director, UNOSSC, Yiping Zhou; the Permanent Representative of the Republic of South Africa to the UN, Ebrahim Rasool; the Under-Secretary-General and Associate Administrator of UNDP, Gina Casar; the Director General of the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Li Yong; the Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), Christian Friis Bach and the Secretary General of the Ibero-American Secretariat, Rebeca Grynspan.
The exhibition will be open until Friday at the OAS headquarters in Washington, DC, and seeks to present innovative approaches to South-South cooperation and provide a platform for mutual learning and exchange of experiences, build bridges, establish partnerships, encourage innovation and develop strategies to generate more joint solutions.
