Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Organizes Civil Society Forum ahead of 42nd General Assembly in Bolivia

On April 26th and 27th, 2012, the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold the Ninth Hemispheric Forum of Civil Society and Social Actors and a Special Session of the Committee on Inter-American Summits Management and Civil Society Participation at its headquarters in Washington, D.C.
The objective of the forum is to stimulate discussion and the exchange of ideas among the participants, and propose recommendations to the Member States of the OAS, based on the theme of the 42nd General Assembly, “Food Security with Sovereignty in the Americas,” and other issues on the hemispheric agenda.
The inaugural event will feature OAS Secretary General José Miguel Insulza and the Chair of the Permanent Council and Representative of Honduras to the OAS, Ambassador Leónidas Rosa Bautista. The two-day agenda will also include three plenary sessions, three workshops to develop recommendations, and a dialogue on the results of the Sixth Summit of the Americas.
