Tema: What is a mythological story?

 

Descripción: This lesson is one of the most entertaining topics for ninth-year students since it also talks about the mythology about characters such as gods and heroes. During the beginning of the class I opened the theme using the technique of brainstorming with the question "What is the myth?" With the participation of the students, we developed a concept on this topic.
Subsequently, the students read and analyzed several readings about the myths of their community. From this situation the Fish Bowl technique was applied on this topic, the students participated motivated and talked about characters like the gods and heroes of those mythological stories that they have heard or have been narrated by their parents or grandparents.
After this activity the concept of the myth was defined according to the text and graphic organizers about the characters were elaborated. Finally, the students made a play about one of the favorite myths with the characters that intervene in it.
