This toolbox, developed by UNICEF and made accesible in May 2025, is an assessment of child rights impacts in relation to the digital environment. It uses a methodology based on the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) to assess how a company’s products, services and operations impact all child rights, as detailed in the Convention on the Rights of the Child and other relevant human rights instruments. The process includes: collecting data and engaging stakeholders; identifying and assessing child rights impacts (and opportunities) associated with the company’s platforms, services or products; and determining appropriate actions to mitigate adverse impacts. UNICEF's annual report highlights challenges faced by children worldwide, offering details on ongoing threats to girls and women on the issues of female genital mutilation and child marriage. The publication also offers data on the Global Gender Equality Thematic Fund, a funding mechanism used by UNICEF to strengthen systems, address urgent needs, and scale up successful initiatives focused on gender equality. 

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) launched this toolkit, developed in collaboration with multiple countries, experts and the support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation. The kit, available in English and Spanish, includes key messages for health policymakers and managers interested in strengthening health administrative data on violence. Countries will be able to draw on a regional template for capturing data on intimate partner violence/sexual violence and care given to survivors, equipping health workers with practical tools to enhance the quality and consistency of the health system response.

This UNESCO publication provides an up-to-date and comprehensive overview of global and regional prevalence and trends related to school-related violence and examines the nature and impact of school violence and bullying. It reviews national responses, focusing on countries that have seen positive trends in prevalence and identifies factors that have contributed to an effective response to school violence and bullying.

América Latina y el Caribe es la única región del mundo en la que los matrimonios infantiles y las uniones tempranas no han disminuido en los últimos 10 años, dijo la oficina regional de UNICEF con sede en la ciudad de Panamá.

Los matrimonios infantiles en América Latina y el Caribe se han mantenido alrededor del 25 por ciento durante la última década, mientras que en otras áreas del mundo se han registrado disminuciones significativas, especialmente en Asia meridional, donde han bajado del 50 al 30 por ciento estos 10 años.
