This online course, developed in collaboration with iEARN-USA (International Education and Resource Network), is an initiative of the department of Human Development, Education and Culture of the Organization of American States (OAS).

This course provides educators with tools, knowledge and skills in the meaningful use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the classroom. The purpose of the course is to help teacher educators integrate Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and innovative methodologies in their classroom course work with future teachers.

The course objectives are aligned with UNESCO’s “ICT Standards for Teachers”. The course content centers on ICT integration in the curriculum using a constructive approach through student-centered methodologies, project-based learning and collaborative online projects.
