Cases sent to the Inter-American Court
According to art. 61 of the American Convention on Human Rights, the IACHR is mandated to submit cases to the Inter-American Court and appears before the Court during the processing and consideration of all cases. Cases are submitted to the Court to decide whether there has been a violation of a right or freedom protected by the American Convention.
