Information on How to Contribute to the Specific Fund of SEDISCAP

 

On June 2011, the OAS General Assembly approved the resolution AG/RES. 2664 (XLI-O/11) resolving "to reiterate the importance of contributing to the Specific Fund for Voluntary Contributions established by the Permanent Council, the purpose of which is to support SEDISCAP operations; to invite the member states and permanent observers, as well as individuals and public and private entities, whether national or international, to make contributions to that fund in accordance with the Charter of the Organization of American States and the General Standards to Govern the Operations of the General Secretariat; and to request the Secretary General to take steps to raise new funds for that Specific Fund".

All those potential contributors who wish to show solidarity with the cause that promotes inclusion of people with disabilities through the management of this Secretariat in line with the objectives of the Decade of the Americas for the Rights and Dignity of Persons with Disabilities (2006-20016), please find bellow the information on how to proceed:
