The Special Rapporteurship for Freedom of Expression informs
that the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights has dictated precautionary
measures in favor of journalist José
Moisés Sánchez Cerezo, in Mexico. These will be maintained until it is reliably
proven the identity of the body found dead on Saturday 24th. January
in Veracruz state. Here you will find the complete precautionary measure (only available in

On the 6th
January, the Special Rapporteurship expressed its concerns about the
disappearance of this journalist and exhorted the Mexican State to adopt the necessary
measures to find him alive.
