CIDI has three permanent committees that are open to the participation of
all member states: the Committee on Partnership for Development
Policies, the Committee on Program, Budget and
Evaluation and the Committee on Migration Issues. Each committee has a chair who is elected at the second
regular CIDI meeting following each OAS General Assembly. The chairs and
vice chairs will remain in office until the election of their successors.

The Committee on Program, Budget and Evaluation is a CIDI organ established under Chapter VIII of the Rules of Procedure for the CIDI Regular and Special Meetings. This Committee was initially established under the Permanent Executive Committee of CEDI (ECOCIDE) and for over a decade was inactive, however, in 2017 the General Assembly through resolution AG/RES. 2904 (XLVII-O/17) instructed it to examine and make recommendations to CIDI regarding all matters in the Organization’s program-budget having to do with partnership for development that are necessary to fulfill the mandates pertaining to the Integral Development Pillar and the Comprehensive Strategic Plan of the Organization, as envisaged in Article 57 of the Rules of Procedure for Regular and Special Meetings of the Inter-American Council for Integral Development.
