Altus: Alianza Global
Network of NGOs and academic centers that promotes research and
methodologies for the development of security and justice indicators.
Global Integrity Index The Global Integrity Index determines the existence and efficiency of
the anti-corruption mechanisms. More than 290 indicators are used
in the index. These not only determine the status of laws and
regulations but also the existence of institutions responsible for the
fight against corruption, as well as the access of citizens to these
mechanisms.
International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA)
The International Red is a global movement
against armed violence; it gathers 800 organizations from the civil
society working in 120 countries to put an end to the proliferation of
small arms. It includes international statistics.
NationMaster Database with a convenient access to comparative table analysis.
It includes indicators on crime and violence as defined by other sources
such as the United Nations, the OECD and the WHO.
Human
Security Gateway Online Database on human security, including reports, news and fact
sheets. Every year, it publishes theHuman

RITLA
Latin American Observatory of Violence in Information and Communication
Technologies
Multi-disciplinary and transnational forum of researchers, educators,
administrative officials and other professionals interested in the
examination and analysis of new forms of violence encouraged by the new
technologies of information. This has been led by the Latin-American
Technological Information Network (RITLA)
Small Arms Survey
The annual survey on small arms is the primary source of public
information on the subject. It leads governmental and non-governmental
initiatives at the national and international levels, and is a forum for
the diffusion of best practices in the field.
Transparency International
It provides cuantitative diagnoses on transparency and corruption, at
the global level. The Corruption Perception Index (CPI) is the
most re-knowed and compares information for more than 150 countries .

This NGO shares institunational registries and victimization surveys.
It publishes a Directory of Criminal Statistics in the country,
through the recollection of criminal directories of Carabineros,
Chilean Police of Investigation, Gendarmería, Judiciary and the
National Instituto of Statistics.

It provides a wide range of articles on violence, crime, prisons and
human rights. It also publishes a diagnosis on violence in
