The Ministers of Education, in the Declaration from Mexico of the III Meeting of Education Ministers, renewed their agreement to the Summit Projects: The Regional Project of Comparative Indicators (PRIE) and the Hemispheric Forum for Educational Evaluation.

“…22. We are committed to guarantee the continuation of the Summit Projects underway: The Regional Program of Educational Indicators and the Hemispheric Forum for Evaluation…”

Likewise, through the resolution on the use of the surplus resources of the sub-fund of the Regular Fund Reserve designated to the sector of Education for the fulfillment of the mandates of the Summit of the Americas , the delegations present in the Ministerial Meeting agreed to distribute these resources between the three hemispheric projects and the two Summit Projects.

  As for the Summit Projects, Chile turned over the coordination of the Regional Project of Comparative Indicators (PRIE) to Mexico ; at the same time Brazil will continue to coordinate the Hemispheric Forum for Educational Evaluation.
