Strengthen the capacity of OAS member states to counter drug trafficking by air and increase regional cooperation.
Objectives
Analyze regional trends and challenges posed by aerial drug trafficking;
Identify efforts carried out by relevant authorities to counter drug trafficking by air;
Strengthen inter-agency, regional and international cooperation; and
Increase the capacity of OAS member states’ agencies in charge of countering drug trafficking by air
Activities
Meetings of CICAD's Working Group on Aerial Drug Trafficking Control; and
Provide technical assistance and specialized training to strengthen the capacities of relevant agencies.
