ITEN Teacher Fellows 2019-2021

ITEN is pleased to announce the 2019-2021 cohort of the ITEN Teacher Fellowship for STEM teachers. The ITEN Teacher Fellowship is a 2-year professional development opportunity for classroom teachers to grow in their instructional practice, leadership, and to contribute to the international education policy conversation.

Composed of more than 30 classroom teachers nominated by OAS Member State institutions that prepare teachers and who are participating in ITEN Project Teams, this Fellowship entails virtual and face-to-face professional development, an opportunity to interact with international leaders in education through a Seminar, and support to give professional development to other teachers.

The ITEN Teacher Fellowship includes two subgroups of educators: (1) early childhood educators who are committed to integrating STEM content and practices into their instruction, and (2) upper secondary physics and physical science teachers.

These teachers collectively participated in approximately 80 hours of professional development, including an intensive workshop from August 15 to 22, 2019.
