▪ Course: The Human Rights of Migrants

The Course of the Committee on Juridical and Political Affairs on the Human Rights of Migrants, including Migrant Workers and their Families, organized jointly by the OAS Department of International Law, the International Organization on Migration (IOM) and the International Labour Organization (ILO), was made the March 6th, 2008, in the Simón Bolívar Hall (MNB) 17th Street & Constitution Ave., N.W., The Course, convened by General Assembly Resolution AG/RES. 2264 on the Inter-American Program on International Law and AG/RES. 2289 on the Human Rights of Migrants, is designed to provide members of OAS Permanent Missions and General Secretariat, with on overview of the basic legal framework and international instruments at the intersection of international human rights law, international migration law and international labor law. The course was open to all personnel from the OAS Permanent Missions, General Secretariat and public. Due to limited space, interested students are required to register by completing the [Electronic Registration] form.
